Patent for saucer technology

Associate Professor Subrata Roy from the University of Florida is seeking a patent for a principle that could be used to produce a flying saucer. A small prototype "UFO" would not contain any moving parts. It is expected to have many electrodes on it's surface which would ionize the air. So-called "magnetohydrodynamics" or MHD is a key effect associated with Subrata Roy's potential craft called a WEAV (wingless electromagnetic air vehicle).
