The Vatican's astronomer José Funes will participate in a workshop about life in the universe on May 21-22 2012: Extraterrestrial Life – Beyond our Expectations? The event is hosted by the research platform ExoLife at the University of Vienna. On the agenda are the social consequences of discovering alien life. Funes is mentioned in previous news articles on this website because of his view that the discovery of extraterrestrial life would not be in conflict with Christianity.
