The American researcher and author Robert Hastings is planning a press conference at The National Press Club in Washington DC on September 27th 2010. It is expected that a dozen former US Airforce employees will tell their stories related to the "UFO-nuclear weapons-connection". Hastings is setting up the event in collaboration with retired US Airforce Captain Robert Sallas. The latter also spoke at the Press Club in 2001 when he participated in The Disclosure Project's famous press conference. The American researcher Robert Hastings was interviewed by George Knapp on August 15th 2010. The subject was the connection between UFOs and nuclear weapons. Hastings is arranging a press conference about the subject on September 27th 2010 at The National Press Club in Washington DC. EU countries to declassify UFO-files?

The controversial Italian EU-politician Mario Borghezi has in a declaration of June 14th 2010 requested all EU-member states to declassify their UFO-documents. The call for more openness also includes an encouragement of a creation of a scientific center which can research and disseminate findings. Read the declaration here. New York Times article about Bob Bigelow

On June 7th 2010 the American paper brought an article about the wealthy Mr. Bigelow's plans for commecial space travel. He is also an interesting guy because of statements like (from the article): “I’ve been a researcher and student of U.F.O.’s for many, many years,” Mr. Bigelow said. “Anybody that does research, if people bother to do quality research, come away absolutely convinced. You don’t have to have personal encounters.” He added: “People have been killed. People have been hurt. It’s more than observational kind of data.
